SaturdayWell, I had something I haven't had in a long time: A chicken slider! Unfortunately, they're pretty fattening (yes, even one of them). Plus, if you've ever seen the movies
Super Size Me 2: Holy Chicken and
Food Inc., . . . . . Not everything that glitters is gold. This, in addition to the fact that I've been eating a sliced turkey sandwich and a
Mounds 4-pack every day for the past week (I'm burnt out on what's basically a vegan diet, I reckon) on top of this, has prompted me to do what I call an "emergency workout", doing various exercises - designed to get my metabolic rate up - before eating:

So needless to say, my arms and shoulders were pretty well fucked up when I went into work on Sunday. Probably should've waited until Monday & Tuesday, my nights off, but it is what it is.
An intro to Grim Dawn (for those curious about the game)A real good
Grym Dahn session today. I played mostly my
reaper guy (I also tried playing my
blademaster, but he's transitioning to a new build, so won't be able to do much fighting with him right now), continuing on Act 5 after doing a Crucible run (a mini-game where you fight waves of enemies), as well as doing a bit of mat farming.
And the LP records I played this time around were:
Joe Satriani - Surfing With the Alien
Queen - Flash Gordon Soundtrack
Kraftwerk - Radio-Activity
Devo - Oh No! It's Devo!
SundayAnother dead
Grim Dawn stream today, especially since none of my regulars came by (the Twitch Grim Dawn room was pretty dead as well, with only about 20 or so people in it). Not to mention I still had some blog stuff I needed to add from yesterday, so I had some catching up to do. Because of this, it was a short stream today.
But anyway, for today I did my usual Crucible run on my
reaper character. I also did a bunch of mat farming as well, trying to get some of my gear upgraded. And then I decided to create a new
occultist character, which is basically a FF XIV summoner. Although it still remains to be seen if I'll enjoy this class or not (I plan to pair this class with a nightblade, Grim Dawn's version of the ninja class). The jury is still out.
And the LP records I played this evening were:
The Moody Blues - On the Threshold of a Dream
Grofe - Grand Canyon Suite
Heart - Little Queen
Prince - Self-Titled 2nd Album
MondayOnly 3 hours of sleep today, due to sinus issues (again due to changing weather, going from the 20s yesterday to the almost 60s today!
:O>), as well as my left eye hurting and kinda dry. I think pink eye might be starting up. Let's hope not. So I just played some Pinball FX3 for a bit, after it not working due to connection issues that lasted almost a whole week. Killing some time since I wasn't in the mood to start my stream at no 2:30pm.
And today's
Final Fantasy XIV stream was pretty bad as a result. I got as far as running my hunts, Pixie quests, and a couple roulettes on my red mage, eventually obtaining level 75. After that I tried crafting my level 76 gear, but only made it as far as making some of the mats and had to shut down since I couldn't keep my eyes open.
-_-On the upside though, the roulettes went well, which is rare. For my 50/60/70 one I got Antitower for the first time, with a real good tank. Two of us were new, so he only pulled one group at a time until after the first boss. Then he started pulling big, figuring we all knew what we were doing. He didn't explain boss mechanics, but fortunately - or unfortunately, depending - it didn't really matter. We still got through it.
My leveling roulette was Sirensong Sea, with a tank that actually had the courtesy to at least ask first before doing big pulls. We wiped once when the healer died, presumably from all the AoE that she couldn't avoid because, cast times. But otherwise the run went pretty smooth.
Otherwise, I should've just stayed in bed.
-_-And today's records were:
Miles Davis - Bitches Brew
Prince - Self-Titled 2nd Album
Frank Zappa - Ship Arriving Too Late to Save a Drowning Witch
Okey dokey, time to call it a night.
<Take care.> and thanks for reading/watching. And have yourselves a great night/day.
