TuesdayAn intro to Grim Dawn (for those curious about the game)Did my
Grimm Dawn stream today, which went very well. Most of my regulars dropped by today, very awesome considering it's been a dead time these past few days. Good to see them!
And for the session I worked on my new character, a
witch hunter....
FYI: You can - and probably should - dual-class in this game. ;)>....which is a combination of a FF XIV ninja and summoner (although I don't do summoning). Basically, it's a speed-based dual-wielder that relies on
Bio/Virus-based weapon attacks (In Grim Dawn, the Bio/Virus element is basically divided into 5 different element types: Poison, Acid - although these 2 are often paired together on items/abilities - Chaos, Vitality, and Vitality Decay. These last two are also often paired together on items/abilities). So far I'm liking it, although there's growing pains right now. I'll iron out the kinks eventually, provided I can keep him alive long enough.
And I also had to cheat in some money for the guy and subtract that amount from my main, since apparently you can't transfer money to your other characters until they've beaten Act 1, after which they probably won't need it. Gotta love that
Infinity+1! (sorry if this doesn't make any sense.)

WednesdayThis morning's
Pinball session went all right. I did good but not great. Many of the tournament tables are ones that I really suck at, so I don't have any high hopes to do well this week. Better luck next week, I guess.

Final Fantasy XIV session. As it was about to rain in all the areas I normally go to (just like IRL I hate rain) I just went ahead and stayed indoors and picked up where I left off on Friday with the gear crafting, eventually making all my level 76 HQ gear for my red mage. After that, I started running hunts and Pixie beast quests. I also ran a 50/60/70 roulette (Ghimlyte Dark), with another FC member, which went good. And eventually he
just barely got level 76.
So, after all that, as a homage to my favorite class in Grim Dawn, the nightblade (see image above), I pulled my ninja out of the mothballs and started puttering around with him. I like what they did with the class this expansion, gave him 2 charges of
mudras, removed the positional requirement for the debuff part of
Trick Attack, to name but a few. Definitely going to be the class I take to 80 after my red mage.
