Joe's B.T.D. 6/Pinball/FF XIV Streams, 4/7 - 4/8

Whatever gets you to the gym, I guess. :/>

This morning I did another workout, which consisted of:

Zum Anzeigen klicken Zum Verbergen klicken
Chest dips, using my kitchen sink, with my legs propped up on the counter.

Incline Barbell Bench presses, although I probably could've used more weight (I only used 35lbs/15.9kg since it's less of a struggle to get the bar over my head; I don't have a barbell rack)

EZ-Curl bar Reverse Bicep Curls. These also work out your outer forearms (note the palms-down position).

Decline push-ups. I had to abort these, as my arms were fried from the other exercises. A no-go with this one.

Today I was undecided on whether I wanted to play Grim Dawn or FF XIV, so I flipped a coin and it came up...

And oh, how much I used to play this game! Back before I was streaming - or even content creating for that matter - I played the earlier versions nearly non-stop. This game was one of those that I skipped showers for, very awesome game. So, it seems that Bloons: Tower Defense 6 is definitely part of my repertoire, possibly replacing Grim Dawn, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

I definitely don't miss this though: The lag!

And I was even able to switch windows easily, despite the fact that I can only play it in fullscreen mode (usually there's a transition period when I'm switcing in/out of fullscreen mode, sometimes freezing my computer, forcing a restart). Which allowed me to play some vinyl records - I have to check my OBS sound levels a lot, to make sure one's not too quiet/loud - which were:

The Honolulu Guitars - Hawaii, Isle of Paradise / The Charles "Kaipo" Miller Serenaders - Hawaiian Paradise
The Residents - Third Reich n' Roll
Thin Lizzy - Self-Titled Debut
Sheila E - The Glamorous Life
Waylon Jennings - 'Ol Waylon
Billy Joel - Piano Man

This morning's Pinball session was so-so, a few bright spots here and there but it was mostly mediocre gameplay. Guess I should've just played some B.T.D. 6 instead. -_-

I also did some sumo squats this morning, something I forgot to do yesterday. <Oops!>

So, for my Final Fantasy XIV it was all ninja, getting him leveled up. Doing the standard-issue hunts and Pixie beast quests. I also did a couple roulettes as well (50/60/70 and leveling), which were Satsasha (hard) and Doma Castle.

Sorry if you don't get the reference.

And both runs were with speed and mass-pulling tanks (they don't even wait until all the monsters are killed. They take off when there's still 1-2 left). This is definitely one of the biggest reasons why ninja is currently my favorite class. They got the speed and mobility to deal with these kind of tanks. It's pretty great when I can do this consistently:

There's actually more to this, but the Lodestone has a 30mb limit on images/GIFs. :(>

No other class I can think of - except maybe my monk, it's been a while - would be able to do this. I'm often having to play catch-up with the Sonic tanks with all my other classes, very frustrating. Oh, and a side note: This is not me on a power trip. It's more of a "Fuck you!" than anything. Tanks that pull big don't bother me as much as those that try to outrun the rest of the group. Seems very disrespectful. We're a team. We should move as a unit, not a speedster with 3 hangers-on.

But anyway, after all that was done he managed to hit level 75, so I started working on making my lvl 76 gear, which actually took a long time, since I'm running out of mats and had to go farm up some more. And yep!....

Another clownsuit. Ninjas, like red mages, are wearing plate helmets and belts, leather/mail gloves and boots, and cloth armor and pants (you would think that, for maximum protection, this would be the other way around. Apparently not it seems :/> Kinda reminds me of this a little bit) this tier. Glamours to the rescue!

But that's that on that. And the records I played this time around were:

The Beatles - The White Album
Bill Cosby - Why is There Air?
Redd Foxx - At Home
Rush - Caress of Steel

Okay. Calling it a night. <Thank you.> for reading/watching, everyone. And have yourselves an awesome day/night. ;)>

Honolulu Guitars... Is that on LP?

Do you have large room for all your records?

Yeppers. That one is actually 2 different records in one, both involve Hawaiian-themed music. A 2-for-1 deal. XD>

And I WISH all my vinyls took up a large room! Buuuut no, I "only" have 2 banana boxes full of records. I didn't own any vinyl at all until about 3ish years ago (when I started streaming), so that's why my collection, compared to those that have buying them since they were kids, is rather small. :[>

To me collecting records is a journey. There are so many records to be discovered. When my grandparents passed away, my parents took their record collection. Mostly jazz, church, opera, and some country. I normally listen to rock but I have to admit listening to those was.. I guess inspiring. My dad has a country collection from the 70 an 80s. My mom rock from the 70s & 80s. They stopped collecting. But those records are still there to be rediscovered. Keep adventuring and collecting!
