Friday Night/SaturdayOH what a night at work last night! Management decided to make us a skeleton crew, with it just me and one other guy (usually it's three), and a decent-sized freight load. And we had
JUST BARELY finished up! I basically clocked out right after we finished, it was that close lol. But, once I got home, I
WAS going to play some
Soulstone Survivors for a bit, but I had no energy, being too enervated from hauling ass the whole night.
And it was a super good SS stream this evening. And it was a fairly chatty session this time around, with
Keitaro87,
og_PowerFantastic, and
yangwright all coming by and checking out the action. I mostly played my
Death Knight character. Fast as hell, mostly immune to knockback, but can't dash. My new main.
:DAnd for this session, I mostly did mat farming, trying to further upgrade the few weapons that actually matter (the ones that have abilities that don't require aiming and deal
Poison and/or
Burn damage). I also did a new mode called "Titan Hunt", where you go to various........"shrines" (for lack of a better word)...... and unlock mini-boss/swarm battles that give void fragments (I think) that eventually unlock the big bad boss battle in that area that you need to defeat. You have to do four of these, but I had to abandon ship part way in since I was starting to nod off due to only getting 3-4 hours of sleep this morning.
But, one
BIIIIIG problem I've been running into with this game: The controller gets knocked out every so often. The game doesn't recognize it. I have to restart the game to get the controller working again, which could severely kneecap any progression I've been working on. Luckily, it hasn't happened at a most inopportune time, but I'm sure it's going to at some point. *sigh*

Pinball Arcade was, for the most part, a pretty good one this time, nearly breaking the Top 5 high scores on a few tables.
White_wimmin, and a new visitor named
CNKay, came by. And a good thing they came by when they did, because I started sucking some major ass towards the end of my stream. I was bad enough to where I
JUST KNEW I better quit while I'm ahead. I actually knew when to say when this time lol.
Written quickly, as I'm running behind right now.A really good but really dead SS stream today, with only
Keitaro87 coming by for a hot minute. It was also a long one too, at five or so hours, since I laid down early this morning, and got some good sleep.
And a
SUPER busy session this time! I mostly did leveling runs on my assassin character (works almost like the ninja in FF XIV, although without the mudras), and eventually got him to level 70ish. And I also learned about
stat synergies as well. You can set up your skill/weapon loadout so that you can really take advantage of this, giving your character
OBSCENE amounts of stats. My assassin's movement speed got so high it was extremely difficult to control (I could only move in tiny increments at a time, otherwise it becomes very difficult to track). Bosses died almost immediately as well until I started getting into the higher difficulties. But good god almighty, I just found another way to play this game!
Monday MorningSo, a pretty run-of-the-mill Pinball stream this morning. And a fairly dead one too, with only
djscrew361 - Good to see him, been a
VERY long time. He's working through some issues, so he hasn't been around in a while -
Keitaro87 and
white_wimmin, both dropping in at the very end of the stream. And for the Pinball, it wasn't anything to write home about. It was just a mediocre win some lose some affair. I ended the stream feeling like I had better things to do. *sigh*
Finished up watching
Pinball: The Man Who Saved the Game this morning. A good ending, the whole "The ball is going to drain no matter what, so always shoot your shot" philosophy. It's also one of the few newer movies I've watched, now that I think about it (came out a couple years ago, I think). Most other movies I've seen in recent years were always older. This one was definitely a diamond in the rough.
