If you go to the website, Artbreeder, you can take a photo of a face and create a virtual painting of it. This works with the characters of FF14, so you can go and take a frontal face pose of your character in game, and then run it through the system to create a portrait 'painting' of your character.
I did this with Annabel and here are the results. I did this with both her 'rich girl' hair style and her 'Alice' hair style.

In this one you can see it kind of messed up doing the headband in her hair.
Note, as you can see, the program does the portrait really close up. I don't know if you move the image further back if you will get more of the body or not. You are only allowed 3 images for free, then you have to get a subscription to make more. Also don't know if you can just delete and redo them as much as you want as long as you keep to 3.
Also, the way the program works, it does NOT play nice with demi-humans according to reddit, which is where I learned about this. Things like Lala's and Au'ra will NOT look right because of the misshapen looks and appendages of the races. Cat and bunny people MAY work since they are very human like, but the ears may be an issue and the program not render them correctly like it did with Annabel's headband. Elezen will probably not work either because of the ears.
There is also a button on there to see what your character's children would look like with your features. You can adjust the slider to be close to your character's looks or only have a slight resemblance. I did not save any on here to show you.
Anyway, I thought it was a neat little thing for one to see what your favorite characters look like painted. As expected, Annabel looks quite pretty, and honestly kind of helps me visualize her in my Modern Girl tales.
