Help - Launcher Error

Hello everyone,

I'm pretty desperate for some help on the attached image. I have tried every method under the sun to reinstall/redownload ffxiv for the past couple days. ie changing dns, resetting my modem, updating everything, deleting certain files, changing files, calling my isp just in case, etc.

Yes I have contacted support too, however they gave me the DNS resolve, I have emailed them back as it didn't work, and have been waiting patiently for a reply as I know they're busy/COVID-19. Figured I'd ask others as well.

I feel quite defeated and appreicate any kind of help on this.

Are you launching through steam? If so then try starting the launcher in the FFXIV directory with admin.

Also try using your phone's internet to see if it downloads the patch aswell.

I also saw stuff about using a VPN or VPN being the cause of the error but dunno.
I had a similar problem but I dont remember the fix I used.

Thanks for commenting!

Unfortunately I have tried a VPN and my phones hotspot; and these did not work. I do not use the steam version.

I really appericate the help!
