Last thursday i had my first chemo ttreatment, been dealing all the week with side effects. The worst one from the infusion and the hardest for me is a numbness in the fingertips, its supposed to be temporary. Ugh nextime they said they will use ice during the next infusion. Meanwhile art is a struggle, worst is gaming and being on controller its a mess. So as soon as the patch went liive, i dont know how i did it had to be sheer determination i got star through to the end.. But the next day frontline was a disaster. Just imagine trying to hold the controller, with your hands asleep, and buttons not seeeming tol work right.. I hope this side effect wears off soon, i miss the game. So on a happy side not, i arrived at the hospital early, i wanted to walk to the cafe, an exit further even though i was weak. A challenge to myself...as i got c'loser. To .the checkin entrance there were chalk messages being put on the sidewalk bout the first step. These two guys were writing all these beautiful words of encouragement. I managed to get past checkin entrance sat down a minute then continued on to the cafe patio, one of the nurses helped me get inside, so walked through the cafe entrance to the checkin wing door, walked through long corridor, collapsed on the last chair near the checkin door. I ,was like so happy i made it. So it like made me feel more hopeful about the future.
