Greetings to anyone reading this!
With the addition of the wooden deck, I, like many others, was inspired to modify my garden to fit this new furniture item. I live in the goblet, and my main theme for my yard is a hidden lush oasis, so sticking with that theme I implemented an enclosed (still open roof) "Secret Garden" using the wooden deck. I really wanted to add a nice warm light so that it would look inviting and make people feel welcomed and the Riviera lamp post was perfect as it looks very natural. I made two designs, one for a large and one for a small and if anyone is interested in replicating this design, there is a video tutorial available (for the small, but same concept applies to large or medium) on YouTube which is posted here. I have seen some really neat tricks making the front of the house into a porch/deck and I think I might try that later.
These are pictures of the large house showing the secret garden portion.
