We were actively online when ownership was transferred to a person that was not in the FC, everyone was kicked out and the name of the FC was changed. The FC Icon, furniture and gardens were not changed. My husband's retainer is still outside.
From what we gather, the temporary owner gave his account to another friend. That friend in turn ended up not linking the game then went into military service. Then Covid happened and most people got sent home. A squad bro wanted to try FFXIV so he got the account. The third person holding the account hasnt spoken, folks dont even know if hes alive because the account hadnt logged in for at least three weeks, according to the account timer.
The ENTIRE guild (this was like 40 accounts) was kicked very suddenly and very out of the blue, at about the same time Asmongold entered Heavansward. I was watching the greeting line when my husband noticed our FC tag was missing. I have screenshots.
We have lost our FC but I want the hacker punched.

I'm so sorry, that's awful! I'm a little confused, was the owner of the FC hacked or did they just transfer the whole FC to another person for little reason? That sounds dumb to give an entire FC to someone just trying out the game, I'd be pissed if my guild leader did that. FC's are a lot of upkeep!
