We are Ikigai. We are a community that aims to create a family like environment for both old and new players of FF14. We're trying to be more than just a group of players sharing a tag, both inside and outside game.


With that out of the way, let’s give you a few reasons to consider us, eh?

GENERAL
We are currently about 120 members strong with about 25-30 people online and active on the average evening. When we're in game we do stuff together - from dailies, through maps, farming content old and new both, to just syncing together in front of our FC house cracking jokes and talking. When we're not in game you can find us hanging out in our discord - either voice chats, or talking in one of our many text channels. We ask each of our members to join our discord, but we never force anyone to use their voice if they do not want to.
We have small and friendly squad of officers managing the FC roughly 24/7. Most of them are dedicated crafters as well - if you need something crafted, be it new gear, a shiny weapon from the item you just won, or some food just throw a shout in FC chat and someone should be there to help you!

EVENTS
At this time we host multiple events a week, some planned, some spontaneous. Anybody in our community can create their own events and we have plenty of chats to help people find those with similar interests, so don’t be afraid to give it a go!
Some of the events we do are Treasure Maps, Mount / Glam / Blu Mage / Fate Farms, current Extreme fights, weekly Unreal runs. Don't know the fight but want to participate? Don't worry we teach new players the fight in friendly environment from the start. If you want to get over your anxiety towards the high-end content you came to the right place. That being said not every run will be a teaching run, so if you're looking for people to get content done with, fast and proper, you will find something for yourself here as well
If you're not interested in doing content and play FF only for social aspects we also have things that may interest you - we do glam competitions, concerts, themed parties. Outside of game? How about a movie night or few rounds of Among Us?

CRAFTING
Like mentioned above we have a lot of members that are interested in crafting and willing to help. There is also a crafting guide section on discord where I have put a fair bit of my knowledge into a channel for some quick tips & tricks.

PVE/High End Content
Currently our FC runs two raiding statics. Both are currently full, but if you are an aspiring raid lead wanting to start their own group we would be more than happy to help you pursue this.
As I mentioned when it comes to current extremes and unreals we help people learn them from the start. That helps also expands to learning rotations, advice on gearing up and all other useful things. Other than that we also have quite a huge collection of useful guides and resources saved for most of the FF14 aspects (not only raiding), ready to be used. If you want to learn we are here.
