Welcome to Sleepy Moogles FC!

We welcome all Warriors of Light and adventurers looking for a casual, fun and respectful FC on Alpha.


WHAT WE OFFER:

- A BRAND NEW FC - so no cliques or existing friend groups that are hard to break in to
- A small FC house right next to the marketboard, with company workshop just starting up (great for crafters!)
- FC buffs - Reduced Rates (cheaper teleports) and EXP boosts if folks are leveling
- Plans to run casual content like treasure maps, new MSQ, or unsync mount farming. Gil, mounts and silliness ahead!
- The intention is to keep things small and cosy, so everyone can play a part in shaping the FC over time.

You'll fit in if you're:
- LGBTQ+ or ally
- Have a casual playstyle, or maybe you normally play solo and want to be more social
- Enjoy logging in to FFXIV to relax and have fun

The FC is especially welcoming to people who might find the game more challenging due to disability, anxiety, or other reasons - this is a place where you don't need to feel awkward for taking things more slowly, floortanking a lot or needing a quick break more often. Equally, you're happy to be patient and support others who are trying their best.

FAQs

What's the age range / demographic?
- This FC is aimed at folks who are sleepy and casual, probably mostly playing weekday evenings after work and at weekends - so 25+ as a guide, with older folks very welcome! For context your FC leader is in his mid-30s and can't keep up with the tiktok memes...

Are savage raiders welcome?
- This FC is focused on casual content players. If you're a retired raider or raid old content for fun you might fit in here, but if you're actively raiding current content, you probably won't have much in common or get bored. We also ask that savage raiding chat stays out of the FC chats to avoid things getting too sweaty.

Do I have to be active all the time?
- Nope! This is a casual FC, it's normal to take breaks or log in only occasionally. You can still chat in Discord any time.

I'm quiet and like to play solo, is it okay to join?
- Sure! We might say hi and invite you into activities, but there's no pressure if you'd prefer to just do your own thing.

I'm NOT quiet and like to play with others, what activities are planned??
- Great! Once we have enough members there'll be regular low pressure events scheduled for content like treasure maps, FATE farming, criterion dungeons, Deep Dungeons, and mount farming old extremes. These cover a range of experience levels, MSQ progress and abilities so you can get involved if you're a Sprout too!
Depending on interest we might also be able to run some current extremes for people who want to learn at a slower pace and a friendly atmosphere.
You can also shout out in the FC chat or discord if you're looking to group up with people outside of events or for roulettes etc ^^

Can I join with an alt / try out the FC with my alt first?
- Alts are very welcome! You can also hang out in Discord first if you prefer.

I'm on the free trial, can I join?
- FCs are for subscription players only, but you're welcome to join our Discord as a friend and head over to the FC house any time! We can give you a teleport to Empyreum if you're still in ARR. Leave a message here or send me a /tell in game :)

Will there be a chance to do housing or gardening?
- Yep! Once you've been active in the FC for a little while you'll have the opportunity to become an officer and get involved - we currently have a small house plot and I'm not super invested in decorating xD This is one of the great perks of joining a new FC!
All members can also access the FC room feature which allows you to buy an apartment-sized room (300K gil) and decorate however you like.

HOW TO APPLY TO JOIN

- Find me in game and send a tell (I'm online most evenings after 7pm ST)
- Visit the FC house - Ward 10, Plot 1 in Empyreum - and drop an application
