Running FINAL FANTASY XIV on Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit Systems (May 17)
Thank you for your continued support of FINAL FANTASY XIV.
As previously announced, Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit applications are no longer supported by FINAL FANTASY XIV, but it has still been possible to run and play the game even after end of support.
However, for security reasons, from Patch 6.15 onwards, we will be shutting down communications using TLS1.0/1.1, which will completely disable the use of Windows® 7 and Mac 32-bit applications that do not support TLS1.2 or later.
If you plan to continue playing FINAL FANTASY XIV on either of these older OSs, please consider updating to the latest versions before the release of Patch 6.15..
