Continuing Progress in A Nocturne for Heroes (Sep. 16)
We have received a number of inquiries from players regarding an issue with the returning FFXV collaboration event, “A Nocturne for Heroes”, in which the event cannot be started.
Upon investigation, we have discovered that those who did not complete their quests from the April 2019 iteration of the event may be unsure how to pick up and continue their quest. We have realized that in bringing back this event, we neglected to provide an adequate explanation regarding the state of quests progressed in the past, and for this we sincerely apologise.
The following are points that should be confirmed regarding event quest progression.
■How to confirm in-progress/completed quests
Open Main Menu > Duty Information > Journal to confirm the status of your quest.
■A: If any one of the quests “The Man in Black”, “In the Dark of Night”, or “Messenger of the Winds” are listed in the Journal under "Current Quest", it means the quest has already been accepted (in-progress), so it may be continued as normal.
Please confirm the details of the quest from the Journal to progress.
If the quest does not appear under the Duty List despite being accepted, the display for that quest may have been turned OFF. Please confirm the check box next to the quest name in the Journal.
*The Seasonal Event Replay feature will be unavailable in this state.
If A does not apply, please see B.
■B: If the quest “The Man in Black” is listed in the Journal under Complete
Since the first quest is completed, you will be able to accept the next quest, In the Dark of Night. Please begin the next quest from the following starting point.

■C: If the quest In the “Dark of Night” is listed in the Journal under Complete
Since the second quest is completed, you will be able to accept the next quest, “Messenger of the Winds”. Please begin the quest from the following starting point.

All quests have been completed.

Please note that by initiating the Seasonal Event Replay, purchase or trade related items from the Ironworks hand or recompense officer NPCs will be unavailable until you have completed the three quests again.
In addition, by starting the Seasonal Event Replay, if the event period concludes before completing all the related quests, buying or trading event-related items afterward will remain unavailable, even if the quests have been completed in the past.
For this reason, when deciding to begin the Seasonal Event Replay, please ensure that you have plenty of time to complete all the relevant quests within the event period.

This case applies if you have never played any of the event-related quests, or you have abandoned the first quest “The Man in Black” before completion.
In this case, please refer to the special event site, and accept the quest “The Man in Black”.
