Named for the camellia, which symbolizes passion, refinement, excellence, and perfection. Once arrogant, she has mellowed somewhat, though she is still stubborn and demanding of herself. She is also loyal to those who have earned her trust.

Tsubaki bore a great deal of ire for the Garlean Empire, which ruled over Othard with an iron fist. When her ancestral home in Doma was finally freed with her assistance, she found herself at loose ends, unsure what more to do with her life. She remained as an adventurer, working with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn to keep the world safe from existential threats. Recently, she has become something of a mentor to a new generation, a role which she is content to lead as she ages gracefully.
