Way back in 2014 I was the hardest of hardcore World of Warcraft players... then Ion let slip no flying in the sweaty Orc Love expansion. Soooo.... I and several million others said No Thank You and left. I Had tried FFXIV during a promotion several years prior, but never got past level 0 ... ie I created a character tried to log in and the client crashed in Ul'dah so I didn't look back. I had also lost the email attached to that account. It was a Roadrunner email through time warner Cable... ugh. Anyway I decided to recreate my Male Gnome Warlock Kompressor.

So Kompressor the Lala Black Mage was born. Only I didn't really vibe with Thaumaturgy at the time. Also to get BLM I was going to have to also level Lancer, which was boring in my mind.

So he became a Marauder, ah those were the days ARR at the start of Heavenward as a Axe wielding Lala.

Eventually I got stuck in the endless mire of 2.1 - 3.0 content, and ended up back in WOW. I stayed mostly there there until They took away my max level. By this point I had come out as Trans publically, changed my name etc. My WOW main was now a Female Void Elf named Mary**** and so when I came back to FFXIV at the end of Stormblood I trans my male Lala into a Me IRL clone. This is by far not my main, but she's closest to who I am IRL. Which is probably why I mostly play my Ari and Elezen mains. Also I love BLM these days, but Reaper is my vibe.
