BTW, this is out of the norm I suddenly speak for the game that I was first not familiar with, until later which I did and why the game became quite fenomenal.
I first notice the title through random clicks on my daily youtube watch and the gameplay looks like another Devil May Cry / Bayonetta clones, and so I didn't take a second look for some time.
Then one day, a LS member was jokingly posting this mock-up FF14 collab version with Nier: Automata, as seen here:

In neuem Fenster öffnenIt does looks believable, especially considering we already had pretty weird collab events like Yokai Watch, Power Rangers (super sentai), & GARO to name a few. Still, I passed this notion and still didn't find any real interest with the title.
And then... another FF mobile game that I quite frequent plays, FF Brave Exvius, finally has event collab with Nier: Automata as well. And this is where I finally started to take serious notice for the title, simply because of the awesome kick-ass battle BGM! :D
That was all it takes to get my interest getting the game. After starting it, the first mission was kinda nothing special for me. But when the game actually landed you on the big city, again the awesome soundtrack really sway me. It was soooo beautiful, it's been quite some time since I had a really good game soundtrack and what's making it more amazing is that most of them are songs, though I kinda wish it has a regular english lyrics instead of these made-up languages. Gameplay is fun, though nothing special since nowadays game are on those high standards, though I appraise the mix-up of multi-gameplay genres like side-scrolling, diablo-like top view, & SHMOUPs, all combined into seamless gaming experience. And the dialogues are really interesting, despite me not really fond of apocalyptic themes. Combine all that with that amazing soundtrack, I can really see why this game took many interests. The game even already has a concert which I watched from youtube, with original singers performing on all the songs, and that... in my view, are already an amazing feat for a single game. Not even FF15 felt much grandeur than these!
And so back to FF14... for people who were really asking to make a collab to happen: Normally I would take my stance against the notion, but... since we are now living on literatures that's easily uses concept ideas to bridge different worlds to avoid heavy explanations: time travel, cross-worlds, or even multi-verse to name a few... I guess it doesn't really matter. In the end, I guess I have no object to such ideas. Only thing that matters is if Yoshida-san would even consider to make this happen since all the decision are in his hands, whether we really wish it or not. ;)
There's only one point I would make out if these somehow making a reality: Please don't make this another tedious grindy thing like we had with Yokai or GARO! I admit that even though I manage to get all Yokai rewards, it was only happening on last few weeks before event concluded, only because I finally decide to care getting them all. And as with GARO, only managed to get the PLD set since that's what I personally matter being the main hero gear on that show. Still haven't even built enough interest on PvP to finish grind the rest. But I guess that depends entirely if you(me) having a bit of OCD over these... ^^;
