Hi guys,

Since SB comes out, many dungeons/trials/relic weapons steps have been much easier than before, so I want to share about my hardship before SB comes out.

There're 4 truely endgame things in my opinion: FSH, Glamours (including relic weapons), all Tribe quests, Mentor roulette mount (Astrope), so today I would like to share about relic weapons of HW (for lv60).Believe me, relic weapon is a pain, but the glowing is shiny and design is beautiful.

***Note: This one is based on my experience before many patches they updated to lower the hardness of relic weapons, so you might not find them on google at all.
_Currency: Lore = Verity; Shire = Creation. They replaced the currency when SB comes out.
_ They used to put Primal ex trials lv60 to Raid Finder, same as Omega now. And you cannot unsync lv60 dungeons.


Today I only share about HW relic weapons. There're 8 upgrade levels:


1. i170: I need to collect 3 crystals from any FATEs at 6 different HW places, 18 crystals in total, and drop rate is random. Now they reduce to 1 crystal at 6 places.

2. i200: I need to finish 12 dungeons with that i170 weapon. You can use your current weapon, do dungeons unsynced, and before you leave the dungeon, equip i170, lol.

3. i210: I need 10 Unidentified Bone + 10 Unidentified Seeds + 10 Unidentified Shells + 10 Unidentified Ore. In the past, for each of unidentified item, it costs 300 lores/poetics; or you need to do tribe quest to exchange (only rank 4 of that tribe can exchange Unidentified items), you can only do 12 tribe quests per day tho, and 3 tribe quests = 1 Unidentified item.

2nd step requires: 4 Kingcake + 4 Dispelling Arrow + 4 Titanium Alloy Miror + 4 Adamantite Francesca. Each of items costs 5000 GC seals, so 80,000 seals in total. Or buy them from market.

4. i230: I need 5 Aether Oil, it costs 1,800 poetics each in the past. If you don't have enough poetics, you need to do 3 ARR raids (24 people raids) from a weekly quests at Mor Doha. The raids are Labyrinth o Ancients + The World of Darkness + Syrcus Tower. And the queue at that time is so long, took me 1-3 hours to queue for 1 raid.

5. i240: I need 60-70 Umbrites, and I can only buy it by Lores, it costs 300 lores each at that time, now they reduced to 150 poetics.

2nd requirement: 60-70 Crystal Sand, you can find it in Treasure Coffer at any HW levequests and the rate to have coffer is low, 1 Amber per coffer can exchange for 1 Crystal Sand. Or you can go to Diadem at Foundation to do Collectible Nodes to exchange, but need lv60 gathering gears with at least 600GP.

Another choice to get Crystal Sand: burn your money to buy expensive items and exchange it, lol.

And i240 doesn't glow o_o

6. i260: I need 50 Singing Cluster. Just need 2 weeks to do weekly and daily quests to get them, or can buy 150 lores each, not hard

7. i270: I need to lighten up 10 runes by doing any HW FATEs/trials/dungeons/raids. And the points changed every hour (eg: Robust is 8 points, Sturdy is 16 points). So people at that time farm A1s (Alexander savage 1), and as I counted my A1s pages, it's 100+ runs
2nd step: I need 15 pneumite, luckily, you can buy it with 4K seals each or poetics

8. i275: the last one is Lux weapon, I need to do 12 hard trials + 1000 lores/poetics to buy 1 ink. And all done.

I think it took me at least 3 months to finish my first relic weapons, other ones are easier because I stock up materials.

So from the photos, it's i275 BRD, i275 MCH, i260 WHM and i260 WAR. Those are my main classes in HW. Now in SB, I changed to WHM, PLD, SAM and RDM. Currently, I'm grinding ARR relic weapons (Zeta), it's even more painful than HW ones (/cry)

Relic weapon is truely endgame.
