It's 2024...and we can STILL confirm the existence of tanks failing to follow LB3 on Seat of Sacrifice Normal. A scuffed run saw two tanks fail LB 3 THREE TIMES and trigger a failed Vote Abandon. The run was eventually cleared, but this is something we need to stop. If on the Echo you are STILL failing this mechanic as a tank, leave the roulette, rerun this with your FC if you are in one and relearn how to time this because this is why I don't tank in this game outside of job leveling. In some cases, you can get reported for holding back the party if you don't agree to leave. They can consider themselves lucky that I chose not to do anything because if we failed a fourth time on that mechanics, it's truly the end for them.

This is fine if you are doing a first-time run of the trials as a Tank, but on roulette as a veteran? That's a #skillissue. That's a no-no.

To be fair, the exact moment to do the limit break is time sensitive. It can fail even if it's up and with time remaining for the effect, if it were fired after the boss as already jumped, I think. In other words, you can get server ticked by the boss.
Good point, Vesta. Server ticks can be the difference between advancing phases or triggering a restart from the very beginning in some battle instance.
