Rhyn's early childhood was influenced more by gentle father than her firm mother, learning to appreciate and apply herself more to art than to hunting. After her father left, her mother tried her best to get the girl to hunt rare and valuable prey, but Rhyn could never do it, sensing the imbalance of taking such a life would have on the forest. In a last ditch effort to get the girl using a bow, her mother enrolled her at the Archer's Guild in Gridania. What her mother doesn't know is that between lessons with Athelyn, Rhyn has also begun studying Conjury, wanting to heal what her tribe has done to the forests she calls home.
