Name meaning: The Last Day. A Safe Walk or Journey.
Xilastae is a cheerful, energetic, and protective (sometimes impulsive) woman hailing from Fallgourd Float, North Shroud. Her father, Delmish, is a retired Wailer who now works in his daughter's brewery and is the creator of the "Squishie Eft" beers. Linna, her mother, is a simple weaver and tanner.
Xilastae is painfully old-fashioned when it comes to the subject of relationships. Or, as she calls it, "bedroom talk". She doesn't know how to help others with their problems, flees the scene when poked about her own, and cannot stand children. As a matter of fact, Xil refers to children as "voidspawn".
She spends her days training with the axe, and aether. Xil has unlocked seven gates of power, but lost one when facing a remnant of the fabled Corpse Brigade. She is very strong despite her thin frame, and can hold her own in any fight. However, Xil despises when magic and ranged attacks are used against her. When infuriated in combat, she'll throw her weapon without a second thought. She will also use anything at her disposal in order to win. Chairs, rocks, tree branches... Xil can fight just as well without a weapon as she can with one.
Xilastae is a very untrusting woman. Even withholding viable information from most people. She might give newcomers the cold shoulder if she feels they're sketchy, or unknowingly come off as rude when she feels something is off. When it comes to defending her family or an innocent bystander, she'll throw herself at the enemy without asking any questions.
Truthfully, Xil has little regard for her own well-being. She is drunkard for various reasons, often inhaling the strongest booze she can get her hands on. She will forget to eat, and sometimes will go without sleep until she all but passes out the moment she relaxes. Mostly because the midlander believes in keeping herself busy. Be it training or spending time with her husband. Xil is almost always doing something.
As such, the midlander endlessly plans out work and assignments to both pass the time, and keep her friends in work. She keeps up her brewery alongside of her father and hired help. As well as her various hobbies. When the woman does finally rest, she can sleep for days. She will also take naps randomly, all of this earning her the "lazy" title jokingly given by her husband.
