I'm back! Been busy with school and other games honestly but I am excited to catch up.
I still like the Gunbreaker class but I think after I max it out I will max out Paladin as well.
*SPOILERS AHEAD*
I forgot where I left off but I quickly remembered the main plotlines. There is an Ascian problem so we go fight the Ascian. But I was gladly surprised that we got a better understanding of why this Ascian (Emet-Selch) is doing what he is doing. Which makes sense but is still messed up.
Dealt with Emet-Selch and so we have one more main Ascian to deal with, Elidibus.
Elidibus takes over the First's (this is the name of the world I was transported to) Warrior of Light's dead body and goes around the world telling people that they should be the next Warriors of Light which I thought was a good thing but it turns out that Hadaelyn and Zodiark (these were thought to be the embodiments of Light and Darkness respectively) are actually the first Primals. And Elidibus was going around telling people they could be Warriors of Light and making them unlock their ability to hear Hadaelyn so that they could serve as followers to hopefully summon Hadaelyn for some reason. I honestly don't know why Elidibus was doing this, please comment below if you can clarify why he was doing this.
I forgot to mention that my Scion friends who are stuck in the First don't have a way to go back to world of Hadaelyn so we quested to find a way to get their souls back to their bodies in Hadaelyn. They come up with a way to store their bodies into crystals infused with the blood of the Crystal Exarch (who I forgot to mention was revealed tto be G'raha Tia from the future who found a way to go back to the past but in a different world, and if you don't remember G'raha Tia like I did, he is the dude that could operate the crystal tower back in Stormblood [I think it was Stormblood]) and I then carry those crystals on me and bring their souls to their bodies.
Anyway, Elidibus stumbles on G'raha finishing infusing the crystals to get the stuck Scions back to Hadaelyn and uses the crystals to control the tower and summon heroes from all the worlds (not completely summon just fragments of those heroes) to attack the Scions and I since we represented Darkness in this world.
So we go fight Elidibus in the crystal tower.
He transforms in the very first Warrior of Light and that was cool but what he was saying felt wrong so of course we kick his butt mostly because G'raha Tia uses the Crystal Tower to do it.
But Elidibus using the Crystal Tower a bunch to summon those warriors and then G'raha using it big time causes G'raha's body to crystalize but before it does we transfer his soul to one of the crystals he infused earlier.
The group mourns a little and then we get the whole group of stuck Scions into their crystals and head to Hadaelyn and put their souls back into their bodies. I then go to the Crystal Tower in this world to put the soul of G'raha in the body of the present G'raha which I think they mix the souls together which turns out okay.
We think all is good but there is always something brewing in the shadows.
Yup Zenos is still alive and kicking and he has a new Ascian friend named Fandaniel who seems like he wants to kill everyone. Zenos just wants to fight me again.
Turns out that using some techniques developed in the world of the First the team and cure Tempering which is basically the brainwashing of beings that cause them to summon Eikons (which was the original threat in ARR). Curing Tempering will stop all summoning so the team goes to try to make more Porkies (little flying pigs that allow the curing of Tempering to happen) but the amount needed would take a long time so the team approach Master Matoya for a way to do it and she recommends to make a mother Porkie to make little Porkies which would be much more efficient that making them one at a time.
We are successful in making the mama Porkie and mass production of Porkies begins. The MSQ for a while is going to different beast tribes and using the Porkies to cure tempering.
With the beast tribes now allies the Grand Company of Eorzea is formed.
Fandaniel is seen flying with Lunar Bahamut and so we got to deal with that.
We consult with the Dragon Tiamat and find that she is Tempered as well so its Porkie time. Tiamat now cured and released from her bonds agrees to fight Bahamut with us and we defeat it.
Turns out Fandaniel is plaining something else and towers show up all over Eorzea. Seems that the towers Temper any who go near making them fanatics of Garlemald. Inside the towers we see that they have captured the different beings in the area to summon Eikons but Lunar versions of them.
So the newly established Grand Company of Eorzea agree to battle the still Tempered and Summoned Lunar Eikons and inquire if the great island city of Sharlayan would join the battle to prevent the final days.
The city sends Alphinaud and Alisaie's father to deliver the city's counsel's decision.
The decision was that they would not join the battle and Alphinaud and Alisaie are shock with the decision and plead with their father to go back and make them reconsider but their father is disappointed and gets angry and disowns his children.
We proceed with the battle and of course we win.
It seemed weird that the city of Sharlayan declined to help in any way so we head to the city and Endwalker begins.
I see Hadaelyn on the way to the island city, she ain't no Minfiia, but she verifies what we learned earlier that she is a Primal. (I assume I will fight her in the future because I keep fighting Primals).
We arrive in Sharlayan and Krille takes me and G'raha (oh yeah G'raha is now a Scion, oh and Estenian is a Scion now as well) on a guided tour.
I am excited to keep playing.
