Miqo'te borne daughter of runaway parents from their tribe.
She was given a name unlike any traditionally known by their culture to further distance her from the tribe where she would be destined to be a mare consort of the vicious and violent man that was Chief's son.
Her parents' plan to keep her safe from the tribe worked even if it costed them their lives near two decades later.

Her story took a major turn however, whilst she was able to successfully return onto her own flesh during first soul extraction in Ala Mhigo, she was not able to do so in Garlemald. Latching onto a body of another soul extracted victim in a house nearby Futayuri managed to find escape from the death of her original body. No one could remember who the victim was due to her being a secret underground slave of Garlean military squad with purpose of recreational sexually driven entertainment before the collapse of the empire.

Whilst initially her new body was weak and on the brink of death, Futayuri was luckily discovered by scouting unit of Ilsabard contingent. With the rich aether of her soul and help of the healers, her recovery was rapid. Presenting herself before her Scion friends she expected to be complicated due to her looking nothing like her previous body. This however was not the case due to Y'shtola's aetheric vision and personal details only Futayuri would've been able to know.

Futayuri Shironeko kept her old name out of the respect to her parent's sacrifice to give her a life of a free person, not a mare consort of a violent ruler. Nevertheless her new body carries a past of sexual abuse and torture of which she still gets Echo flashbacks to this day.
