Tis the season of jingle bells, eggnog lattes, and reruns of old Christmas classics on the TV.

During times like this, it's easy to forget that real life is still happening for many people. And the truth is, you and I have no idea what's going on in the background of someone's life.

So, should you cross paths with a Scrooge or be in the company of someone who's not in the holiday spirit, give them a break, cut them some slack, and love them anyway.

Throughout this season and forevermore, I ask that you maintain in your heart a spirit of kindness, empathy, and compassion.

Remember...

At the end of the day, we're all just doing the best we can from where we are.
