Ultimately? Play the game as you enjoy it.

This has been a "completionist" run through the content, but as I move on to Stormblood, there are some things I've absolutely skipped, because I wouldn't have enjoyed them and/or it's content I can do at a more enjoyable pace over long periods of time. But here's the recap!

All jobs over 60, except for MCH, DRK, and AST, which are all over 50. I'm going to keep those three jobs trailing, despite the slight inconvenience to the inventory. It was nice the other day to run Aurum Vale with an FC member, and to have a job that could use the EXP from it. Got all of the job quests done at 60. Summoner with an assist, as some job changes have made that job quest pretty spicy. It's been nice to get jobs to the same level and turn in/toss/desynth older gear. This includes crafters and gatherers.

All Triple Triad NPCs beaten. This was true of main zones, but not of the Gold Saucer. I can't hear the elementals in that place. lol. Some popped up very late in the story, but I got them on the last day of week 20.

Side quests: Manderville, check! Scholasticate, check! Nearly all of the little quest markers are gone from all of the zones, with the exception of the extremes - Ravana Ex, Bismarck Ex, and the Warring Triad (My new computer is going to be able to handle these better. I'll want to clear them synced), any side quest that tells me that I'll get no help from my journal (I want to enjoy those at a more leisurely pace - One in ARR, one from Slowfix in Idyllshire, and the brooms), several things in the Gold Saucer that don't (yet?) have my interest, and the Firmament and the Diadem.

Those last two. . . hooboy. I know a lot of people have leveled crafters and gatherers quickly there, but I've had no trouble with getting levels. And if I'm crafting something I want to be able to sell it. :) "Pretend" items don't really grab my interest, but if I can craft something that has value to other players, or to myself, I'm down. My tune may change on this if I eventually want the emotes. Although. . . using those emotes is nothing more than a ploy to make everyone else suffer the firmament grind. Maybe not.

Fishing: All fishing holes are open. When big fish are up in zones I'm visiting, I don't want to struggle to figure out where they are! Big fishing has continued, although I caught no new ones in ARR zones. Getting down to the tougher ones? Maybe. Still never gone ocean fishing. My fisher is the highest leveled job I have! Similar to the Firmament/Diadem, this is gimmicky side content that I don't think I'll need, outside of minions/titles

All sightseeing logs complete, for HW and ARR. This was a last day effort as well. Not many were left, as I'd been picking away at them.

All A and B ranks down for ARR. Picking away at the S ranks, as well as the A and B marks for HW, but I have routes to help now. I need to find the timers for the S ranks so that I can put in some efforts to spawn them.

Relic weapons open and running - for both ARR (White Mage) and HW (Dragoon). Doing fates for the challenge log and levelling during the last week got me the crystals I needed. My runs through ARR zones can get me to the monsters and leves I need for my books - no hurry, so I can almost always pick away at this as I'm going through zones.

All beast tribes open. I'm friendly with everyone but the Ixals (done), and the Moogles (just got them open).

All special achievement FATEs done for ARR, possibly none of them done for HW.

PVP - I'm ready to actually start doing this in earnest. I'll have to set aside a day for it or something. Legit content that I'd love to engage in. The old computer made it a bit of a joke, but I think I could get creamed fair and square now.
