Born in Sharlayan to an Elezen scholar and an Au’ra wanderer of the Azim Steppe, she entered the world beneath an omen of faint starlight. Her mother, chosen briefly as a witness of Nymeia — goddess of stars, fate, and the silver threads between lives — carried a blessing meant not for herself, but for the child she bore. It was a gentle protection, a small, celestial spark meant to shield a fragile life touched too early by tragedy.

She never knew her father. He was slain in an act of hatred against the Au’ra, long before she took her first breath.
From her Elezen side she inherited a calm voice, sharp intuition, and a meditative companion-like silence.
From her Au’ra blood she carries golden scales, a tail as thin as carved bone, and a quiet resilience that refuses to bend.
And from Nymeia’s blessing, she bears a subtle, otherworldly radiance: tiny points of light scattered across her skin like wandering stars.

Her magic is soft and humble — never grand, never violent. It cannot summon miracles. It cannot bend fate.
It can only glow. A warmth for others and a burden for herself, for every use of her light drains her body and leaves her breath quivering with cold.

In Sharlayan, whispers began to spread about the “hybrid marked by the Spinner’s light”. Whispers grew into curiosity, and curiosity into danger. Garlemald learned of her existence and sought to capture her, hoping to twist her celestial blessing into magitek research.

She fled before they could reach her.

Now she wanders the realm’s safer cities, moving quietly and living simply. She studies astrology in hidden corners of libraries and under silent night skies, tracing the constellations that once touched her mother’s womb. She discovered dance — a discipline that lets her shape her light with movement instead of spellcraft. Where her feet move, her glow softens, and she becomes a warm memory of the heavens rather than an object of pursuit.

Her dream is simple and impossibly large:
to heal her mother’s heart, torn apart by the loss of the man she loved,
and to become a dancer–astrologian who brings small but honest light to those who live in the dark.

She regrets never knowing her father, yet feels his absence as surely as she feels starlight on her skin.
And deep within — in the place she never speaks of — she longs for someone strong enough to share her burdens, someone who can protect the light she carries even when she cannot.
