A well-dressed merchant, a Lalafell named Glimshade Glimmergleam, was verbally abusing a young Miqo'te woman named Anya Moonchaser. Glimshade's demands for repayment of a debt escalated to threats of indentured servitude, leaving Anya visibly shaken and distraught.

As a fellow outsider in Ul'dah, I understand the struggle to survive in this city. However, I cannot condone the use of intimidation and coercion to settle financial disputes. Glimshade's actions are a stain on the reputation of the Sapphire Avenue Exchange and a violation of the basic principles of decency and fairness.

Anya, a recent immigrant from Gridania, confided in me that she had fallen on hard times due to a series of unfortunate events. She was trying her best to repay her debts, but Glimshade's relentless harassment had made it nearly impossible.
