well, the week wasn't too grand, honestly forgot most of it ^^; (whoops).

think I mostly did dailies and kept getting the newer alliance raid which isn't bad just time consuming compared to the other ones. still working to gather tomes for my Whm for when Endwalker comes.

Oh, my luck with the Gold Saucer was so horrible too, not one jackpot in the Mini cacpot.

Also! The Rising started and that's always a time to remember the past and look forward to the future, it feels like ages ago when I started playing the beta: (this will be a ramble)

A friend had mentioned that the game was shut down and being brought back, so of course I'd get it as well. I remember going Dragoon during the beta time and it was fun, then for the official release I choose Monk and decided to get Dragoon later on. I wanted to start in a whole different area since I had spent so much time in Grid. The experience was different from what I remembered and got lost plenty of times. Later on down the line I had ended a MSQ and forgot to pick up the next one as I went to do my class/job quests. After completing them and leveling my other classes I had forgotten that I didn't grab my MSQ quest, back then there was no indication for the quests.
So my butt got monk and then also forgot to get the rest of the story quests for that! (I was very busy IRL) Not knowing what to do, I decided to grind my way to 50 in Southern Thanalan...that took a very long time(about two weeks in game). It was thanks to me using a keyboard(I was on ps3) and asking a random player how they could have a chocobo move around freely and not on the set paths like the porter ones. Of course they were confused as I was level 50, but after telling them of my situation they invited me to their FC and that FC helped me catch up to the end of ARR, since of course Heavensward was not out yet, Crystal Tower was barely out by the end!

I wont lie, I hated the skipping of cutscenes in the last story dungeons because when I went in, you've probably heard of it, it was loading screen hell...by the time I finished all the cutscenes, everyone had left and there was only a few minutes left of time before it booted me from the dungeon. I never learned the fights or even if there was mechanics in any of the dungeons, even to today.

I don't know if it is a sad or funny story, but that's pretty much my ARR experience...shortened down a lot.
If you thought that was bad/rough, just imagine when RL hit and I couldn't come back till just before Stormblood!...but that's a story for next week. I did leave out a lot, but I will stick with what I remember, which isn't much.
