I was a little worried about getting stuck on content after leaving my FC, but something funny happened one day after I did.
I joined a Coil party via PartyFinder that said something like "we'll do T4 depending on group strength", to me that sounds like "don't really expect a win on T4" but since I'm just experienced in T1 and T2 I tried anyways.
We wiped once on T1.
On T2 I was worried because we were using enrage method with only 2 healers (me being one of them) but we prevailed anyways.
T3 fun as always.
When we got to T4 and it was pretty noticeable that these guys were experienced on it I began to panic. I read a guide on Reddit and hoped for the best. We wiped once because I lost track of my MP, but when we won I was in disbelief. I was hoping something much much harder to heal but it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Sadly none of the DRG items that I needed dropped, but I'm happy to know that I'm able to do T4 now.
Here's hoping that my progression will continue even without a FC or LS.

Grats on the T4 takedown. Hoping ill take it out this week myself.
For a few weeks I went on the join pug coil, since I was able to fill in for a good group my first time in I got a handle on things fairly easy and we cleared content quickly, after that I was to find a static/pug and I was placed in a beginning group..which I felt hey I far exceeded their skill ability, but I stuck with them and it's been fun getting to know them and flow with them. Statics are good, way to improve your individual and team skills
