Raised and taught everything she knows within the monastery of the Lotus, Katina's methods of healing are both orthodox and unorthodox in nature, depending on the culture of a client. The birth-given rights to a child destined to the path of the Lotus healer is one of great honor, but also of greater sacrifice, and they are usually seen as "channeling" beings; thus treated with great respect, or at least: avoidance. The ultimate ending of a healer is their gift, which cripples their mortality. One of Katina's main focuses and goals in her life as part of the Lotus Order is to tend and heal all those in need with a understanding of their individual needs in order for them to get better.

Traditional Methods
Herbalism - The use of plants and their properties for medicinal purposes.
Botany - The study of plants, their classification of economical and physiological importance.
Acupuncture - The use of acupuncture needles to relieve pain or physical stress on the body.
Massage Therapy - Nimble fingers, kneading and working along the body to loosen and relax muscles.
Thermotherapy - Commonly known as Hot Stones, are gently placed on specific spiritual locations on the body to provide deep muscular stress relief.
Homeopathy - The uses of Herbalism and botany to stimulate the natural healing defenses of a healthy body. The purpose of homeopathy is the restoration of the body to homeostasis, or healthy balance, which is its natural state.
Alchemy - Potion creating.

Lotus Order Methods
Healing Springs/Baths - Through careful study with several different plants and locations, specific baths can be created for unique purposes. These usually need to be repeated for hours on a daily purpose depending on the injuries.
Wax Bath - If injuries prove to be life-threatening, a "wax bath" is permitted. The client is put under a catatonic sleep, where the heart rate is slowed and breathing is discarded when they are placed in the water. Wax then 'seals' the bath over the top, where its medical properties are seeped into the skin, soaking and coating physical slashes and gorges. These can last several hours at a time.
Usque Ereth - Designed specifically for patients who suffer from poisons that affect lungs or the throat. It translates to "Smoke Solitude."
Youth Rejuvenation - A bathing system to remove wrinkles, aging and the signs of scars.
Lotus Massage - Differentuating from a traditional massage, special oils and magic is required to loosen and relax trauma in muscles.

Spiritual Methods
Hypnotherapy - A method used to remember things forgotten.
Meditation - Spiritual relaxation that affects the mind and body. Releases stress.
Deep Meditation - Used to unlock memories forgotten. Usually requires the patient to be in a Healing Bath.
Dream Occlude - Spiritual resistance to avoid unpleasant memories or dreams. Dream Occlude does not 'erase' memories, yet simply encases them within the mind where they are 'blocked' and cannot be reached.
Spiritual Essence - The offering of a spirit channeled to become a guardian to the patient. Spirits are never forced, and are usually a result of a loved one who has passed. Spiritual Essence also gives a high resistance to other spirits.
