✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿Scholar✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿I've decided to start working on my Scholar. Went to Northern Thanalan to try out some fates to reacquaint myself with the job and its abilities.
I was told to adloquium if the target does not already have a shield on him and will make use of that shield for basic healing.
Whispering Dawn is my medica II but is a CD rather than a cast and comes out from Eos.
I'm guessing sacred soil is better when multiple people will be taking hits, otherwise lustrate and energy drain if you are DPSing single target, or Aetherial Manipulation is ready to be used and you still have stacks, and Bane for AoE DPS?
I've set the fairy to heel and obey. I'm afraid that if I set or place it I will forget about her and run off without her, but she should be placed so her Embraces aren't interrupted, right?
It's taking me some time to figure out where all the abilities are on my crossbar. I haven't played the job in a long time, but hopefully I get the hang of it. I'd rather level SCH than SMN for queue times. I also already have all my points spent on mind and scholars are more useful than summoners.✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿✿

Lustrate is like... super clutch, love it!
I usually don't sacred soil (depends on the boss) Usually put shadow, all the dots, spread the dots (-1 aether) always make sure I have 1 aether stack for lustrate and kill eos/selene if i must to get MORE AETHER GRAGHHHH

The pink is actually hurting my eyes, it burns my corneas!
I don't know much about SCH but I know I've been intimidated to learn to heal with that class. I prefer the utility of AST or the raw healing power of WHM.
I'm only 50, so I can't kill the fairies yet.
I've leveled WHM and AST. Did pretty well with them. Scholar is strange because it can be the easiest healing job or the most difficult.

I feel like the learning curve may be steeper than AST or WHM. Yes?
I don't remember, it's been well over a year since I leveled it to 50 and I really haven't touched it since.

Which Ember persona is this one the nice one like her potato self? Or is it the cool Hanamaru? or a mix of whatever?
How to Scholar in 4 easy steps:
Step 1: summon fairy
Step 2: put her on sic
Step 3: turn on cs
Step 4: dps
And it's that simple.

What does Sic do? doesn't that make it blow all its cooldowns whenever they are up?
Yes. Fairy management is a thing no Scholar should do.
If you're hungry or have to go to the bathroom, don't bother telling your party. Just /follow the tank or dps and you're good to go!
But then I can't DPS. I want to be an exceptional Scholar.
You can still /follow someone between pulls. Scholars are the smartest ones after all (ignoring that all the old scholars got turned into tonberrys by a disease they couldn't figure out), so they shouldn't have to do any actual work, leave that to the lesser beings.
Well Ronove little Ember is nice in a away that she may have temper tantrums but nobody can resist hugging or petting her when she gets angry.
Next time I see her I'll adopt little Ember :^)
