Part 4 - The Building Blocks

What are the most important stats for Black Mage? Short answer is, it depends. Long answer: One stat affects the weight of another stat, so I cannot give you a list telling you exactly what stats you want and how much. What I can tell you is that Weapon Damage is the most valuable stat. You will want to have the strongest weapon available equipped. Intelligence directly boosts your spell damage, stack that thing! Get your accuracy to soft cap, that being 470 at the time of writing. Try not to get over 470, but never go under that either. It’s better to have a bit over the soft cap than have anything lower than that. Determination boosts your damage as well, but not nearly as much as Intelligence. Spell Speed is a good boost in DPS and it also slightly boosts your mobility in fights that require much movement. Critical Hit Rate becomes more useful the higher your other stats are.

Ideally, your stat weights are, at the time of writing, this:
Weapon DMG > INT > DET >= SSPD > CRIT
