I've decided. I'm gonna play scholar, simply because the queue timer for duties is so much shorter. Almost instant access as a healer is definitely a plus. I love slinging spells as much as any spell slinger, but healing is fun too. The dungeons seem to be going up in difficulty, which is nice, I think.
I was Halatali and was browsing my hunting log. The tank nearly died. He was at 29hp before I got my heals off. Definitely can't slack off as much now. But it's still very boring if you're on top of things. I kinda wish mp wasn't such an issue or I'd definitely be shooting monsters with everyone else. I still try, but I worry I might be using too much mp. When I did Toto-rak I ran out and the pugilist died. The damage wasn't that bad, but the fight just dragged on, plus I was shooting the pods, so I guess it my fault. I hope healing as a scholar will be more interesting.
Fates still have their deathgrip on me, I was going to log out an hour ago, but a few fates and a few nearby quests kept me going. I keep thinking, just one more, and then an hour has past. Collecting seals for the armor. I love the Company armor. It's very cool. I hope all the company gear is unique and not just the same armor all the way to the highest level. Or worse, generic quest/storebought armor.
I do hope they fix the login problems. Constantly pressing x, hammering the login server, just to get on is very annoying. Took nearly 15 minutes to get on today. Some people never got to play, so I guess I was lucky. Or they weren't as persistent.
I'm enjoying this game so much. But I fear I might do everything too fast, and have nothing left to do before next month is over. I do hope not.
